A 200x outcome starts with a brand that had strong products but limited digital reach - and a decision to build the infrastructure to match.

200x Amazon revenue growth. From emerging brand to Amazon Choice.

Richpet had product quality and a growing offline reputation. Its digital presence was still at an early stage. Kriten built the brand identity, marketplace infrastructure, and multi-channel presence to match the product's ambition.

The challenge

The pet care category is one of the most competitive in e-commerce, and it is moving fast. Consumer brands that delay building their online presence find themselves at a structural disadvantage that compounds: better-positioned competitors accumulate reviews, ranking history, and brand recognition that make them progressively harder to displace. First-mover advantages in marketplace categories are real and durable.

Richpet had genuine strengths - product quality, supplier relationships, a clear sense of the customer they wanted to serve. What they were still building was the online infrastructure needed to compete at scale: a defined brand identity suited to digital environments, an optimised product catalogue, a review base, a social presence, and a system for generating digital demand. The opportunity was significant. The work needed to capture it was substantial.

The specific challenge of scaling a brand in a competitive marketplace category is that the key elements are interdependent. Listings drive reviews, reviews improve rankings, rankings bring traffic, traffic generates sales, and sales build the review velocity that sustains rankings. Each element depends on the others. Building into that cycle, in a category where established competitors already have momentum, requires a deliberate and simultaneous approach across every layer. Building one piece at a time and waiting for each to develop before starting the next is almost always too slow. Categories do not wait. The window for establishing a strong position closes as incumbents consolidate their advantages. Speed and simultaneity were the strategic requirements.

What Kriten did
01

Built a brand identity built for digital

Richpet needed to show up as a brand, not just a seller. In a premium pet care category, the positioning and visual identity that a product presents on a marketplace page determine whether a customer clicks, and whether they trust what they find when they do.

We developed the full brand system - positioning, visual identity, packaging language, brand voice - optimised for the specific environments where Richpet would compete: Amazon product pages, Instagram, direct website. Each touchpoint was designed to communicate quality and reliability, because in a category where customers are buying for their pets, trust is the primary purchase driver.

02

Built and optimised marketplace listings for conversion

A marketplace listing is not just a product description. It is a sales system with multiple components - title, bullet points, A+ content, imagery, pricing architecture, review structure - each of which affects both discovery (whether the listing appears when customers search) and conversion (whether customers who find it buy it).

We built Richpet's listings across Amazon and other key marketplaces with every element optimised: keyword targeting embedded naturally into titles and descriptions, A+ content that communicated the brand's premium positioning, imagery that presented the product clearly and addressed the visual questions buyers have, and a review acquisition strategy to build the social proof base that marketplace algorithms favour.

03

Expanded across channels with channel-specific strategy

Growing from one channel to four is not a matter of copying content across platforms. Each marketplace and platform has a different audience, a different algorithm, different content requirements, and a different purchase context. A listing optimised for Amazon performs differently on other platforms. A social campaign that works on Instagram reaches a different audience than performance marketing.

We built Richpet's multi-channel presence with a strategy specific to each channel - not a unified approach applied everywhere, but a considered answer to the question of what this brand needs to do to win on each platform individually. The result was four active channels, each performing in its own right.

04

Built social presence and performance demand generation

Marketplace authority does not come from marketplace presence alone. The brands that win on Amazon at scale are usually brands that exist in the customer's awareness before they arrive at the marketplace. Social content builds that awareness. Performance marketing accelerates it.

We built Richpet's social presence from the ground up - content strategy, creative, posting cadence, community engagement - and ran performance campaigns designed to generate awareness among the target pet owner demographic. This created the demand that flowed into marketplace listings, increasing both traffic and conversion rates as the brand became more recognisable.

The outcome

Amazon revenue grew 200x from the starting baseline. The number of products listed online grew 25x+. Richpet expanded from a single offline sales channel to four active digital channels. Multiple products earned Amazon Choice status - a designation that signals strong review volume, competitive pricing, and sustained sales velocity.

The brand that was still building its online presence when the engagement began is now competing with real authority in a fast-moving category.

Why it compounded

The 200x figure reflects the compounding nature of marketplace authority: more reviews improve rankings, better rankings increase traffic, more traffic generates more sales, and more sales build the review velocity that sustains rankings. Richpet is now well into that cycle, and the infrastructure Kriten built continues to generate momentum. The brand is not catching up. It is competing - and in some product lines, leading.

We had the product quality but our digital presence was still being built. Kriten developed everything in parallel - brand identity, Amazon listings, social channels, performance campaigns - in exactly the right sequence. 200x Amazon revenue growth and Amazon Choice status on multiple products. We are now competing with real authority in a category that had limited room for us before this engagement.
